Evie's journey as a working artist started in elementary school, painting commissioned pet portraits using acrylic paint on canvas. In High School, Evie discovered her love and talent for working with clay. Evie brings her passion for ceramics and love of animals together in her most recent work, which includes hand-built animal busts, pinch pots, figures, and statues. Evie often incorporates elements of humor and personification into her artwork and captures the varied dispositions and characters in the animal kingdom. Evie lives in San Martin with her family and pets, including: mini horses, goats, chickens, and cats.
